this truck started off as a replacement for my tired Nissan Xe. it came with a 318 that was more then beat, i drove it for a few months in the white over construction yellow. one day trying to show off to a. the few friends, i blew the rear end literally severing the pinion in half and toasting the tranny. i salvaged a rear end from a yard in my hometown, went to buffalo spring for new u-bolts. i had them re sized them 9/16" over the stock 3/8" size. the truck seemed to need more power, so then started going a 3 year build of an ultimate sleeper truck. i have been an avid fan of 60's mopars and wanted to combine the power and torque into daily driver. there are alot of imports in my town and usually after blowing there doors off with my daily granny cruiser and the company car, ex police interceptor. i wanted to embarrass them even more. while i was at work my dad's best friend and i did most of the tear down, the frame was in rusted shape so we had it sand blasted and shot with a gloss black max-poxy. i had to put it on hold for a year because of financial issues but i am at it again, and hoping to be at the strip by mid august or late September. i will be updating every week with pics.
