Purchased new in 2004, this daily driven Work Truck model Silverado was lucky to see a Auto, A/C & Cruise.

The most recent addition to the appearance aspect is the 22" American Eagle Voodoo 407 rims & 265/40-22 Yokohama Prada Spec-X tires, also the Silverado recieved new blacked out Halo Projector headlight lenses with 8000K HID's,blacked out parking light lenses and smoked LED tails. Street Scene also left it's mark, a pair of Cal-Vu side mirrors along with the S.S. Speed grill. The trucks once clear glass is now tinted, 5% rear and 35% sides.

Other such additions are the Viper alarm with Remote Start. Single 3" mandrel bent exhaust with a Flowmaster Super 40, removed cats. The tailpipe gets run thru the side of the bed with a StylinConcepts exhaust tip. A relocated & shaved tailgate handle plus a Summit fiberglass roll pan. The brake rotors have been swaped out for cross drilled & slotted discs, all four calipers painted red.

To help turn those 22"s the rear gears have been swaped out from a factory 3.42-1 ratio to Motive Performance Gears 4.10-1 ratio. The gears are covered with a polished aluminum TransDapt diff cover. The computer is flashed by a Hypertech Power Programmer III and the 4.3L V6 is fed by a K&N F.I.P.K with a home made ram-air setup using scoops in the front valance. Hiding under the polished aluminum Edelbrock valve covers are SLP's 1.6 ratio rocker arms. A N.O.S. Sniper wet 75hp shot with a single fogger is plumbed into the K&N intake tube. To help get more air into the plenum is a CFM-Tech bored & smoothed throttlebody.

A MSD 6a is to aid in throwing some spark along with an Accel coil & 8.5mm MSD wires. A March 25% underdrive crank pulley aids in redirecting the ponies to where they need to be. To keep things cool a 180 T-Stat was opted as well as ditching the mechanical fan & clutch for dual Flex-a-lite electric fans & VSC controller. A 145a alternator is added to supply extra current to the hungry accesories, along with a Optima red top battery.

Inside the cab, a white guage face overlay in the cluster. Media was added thanks to Alpine with it's IVA-W200 DVD player and a Playstation 2 mounted behind the passenger seat. The DVD player is tricked into constant opperation by a Peripheral PTR-7 module. Custom made diamond tread aluminum plates house the Auto Meter carbon fiber series Air/Fuel ratio guage, nitrous arm & purge buttons. The nitrous "fire" button is located on the drivers side arms rest.

And still the Silverado is a daily driver, but just a little more fun to drive.
